In September 2007, PAXCON® PX-2100 was certified by H.P. White Laboratory, Inc., one of the oldest and most respected ballistic and research centers in the nation, for its ability to protect against spalling and fragmentation during a ballistic attack.
All testing was conducted on an indoor range at ambient conditions using calibers 7.62x39mm, 123 grain, lead core ball, 5.56x45mm, 55 grain, M193, ball, and 7.62x51mm, 149 grain, M80, ball ammunition. The test samples were rigidly mounted 60 feet from the muzzle of the test barrels to produce zero-degree obliquity impacts. Redundant pairs of lumiline screens were located at 10 feet and 20 feet. Together with electronic chronographs, they provided bullet velocities at 15 feet.
